The Account Supervisor is responsible for proactively developing a group of sustained client relationships in service to solving SET’s clients’ business problems through the development of effective brand experiences. 
  • Proactively develops and sustains ongoing client relationships that create brand experience opportunities which drive annual revenue targets 
  • Helps to support the Account Director- provides leadership and oversight to the junior account team as needed
  • Develops a deep understanding of the client and their industry; its business initiatives, industry trends, competitive landscape and marketplace dynamics
  • Understands how the client is organized, key players and its working relationships
  • Proactively brings forth business-building ideas, strategies and solutions for clients
  • Establishes strong relationships with assigned client leads 
  • Develops and updates annual Client Plans designed to proactively grow opportunities and revenue with existing clients 
  • Leads an inter-disciplinary team (including strategy, creative, technology and project management) to deliver Brand Experience projects/programs to assigned clients
  • Participate in KEY client meetings to facilitate successful development of client work
  • Works with project management discipline to ensure that overall assigned client work is produced on time, on budget at margins acceptable to the agency
  • Ensures that assigned annual and quarterly revenue targets with assigned clients are achieved
  • Participates in revenue meetings to report on revenue opportunities in support of established goals
  • Ensures his/her team have accurately represented billing milestones in financial billing systems and works with Finance to approve timely monthly billing
  • Participates in new business efforts as assigned by Managing Director and/or VP, Client Services
  • Helps qualify new business opportunities as needed
  • Helps drive and support new business pursuits on behalf of the agency – includes everything from proposals to pitches
  • Other responsibilities and duties as needed

Required qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities, education and experience) 
  • Bachelor’s degree  
  • 5 to 7 years of both projects and/or account management experience, with a broad array of expertise in branding, marketing and advertising with strong experience in branded spaces and/or retail
  • High-level strategic thinker with a clear understanding of strategy, creative and technology
  • Effective presentation skills and the ability to articulate strategic creative solutions to Marketing Managers to VPs.
  • Experience in selling agency work – cross-selling, up-selling with existing clients and in new business situations
  • Strong written and visual communicator with expert presentation skills
  • Strong understanding and appreciation of creative and strategy 
  • Ability to translate strategic vision into tangible programs and deliverables
  • Strong interpersonal skills (open, friendly, patient, pragmatic and supportive attitude)
  • Effective team member and team leader
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

  • Experience with lifestyle brands and technology brands
