The internship in Account Management assists the Account Management team with their day-to-day design activities by helping develop a group of sustained client relationships and by assisting SET’s clients’ business problems through the development of effective brand experiences. The internship will focus on allowing interns the opportunity to experience what an Account Manager actually does in a creative agency.

Our program starts July 16, 2018 and will run for 10 weeks. The role will be paid $15/hour. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Interns can expect to contribute to the Account Management team by sustaining current client relationships and helping to form new ones. These responsibilities may include the following:
  • Develops a deep understanding of the client and their industry; its business initiatives, industry trends, competitive landscape and marketplace dynamics
  • Understands how the client is organized, key players and its working relationships
  • Proactively brings forth business-building ideas, strategies and solutions for clients
  • Participate in client meetings to facilitate successful development of client work
  • Helps qualify new business opportunities as needed
  • Helps drive and support new business pursuits on behalf of the agency – includes everything from proposals to pitches
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field in progress, preferred
  • Excellent and professional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High-level strategic thinker with a clear understanding of strategy, creative and technology
  • Effective presentation skills and the ability to articulate strategic creative solutions to Sr. staff
  • Familiarity with Mac computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn quickly and take on multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively and appropriately interact with co-workers at a variety of levels, across many disciplines
  • Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills requires
  • Highly organized with a keen sense of attention to detail
