The Designer candidate brings an understanding of branding, design and communications to the brand experiences we create. From pop-ups to immersive brand experiences, visual merchandising to full scale re-branding, we love people who can move seamlessly from project to project, and bring a unique design perspective and exceptional attention to detail.
The candidate should feel as comfortable designing a brand identity or user interface, as they are ideating and creating pitch presentations. The Designer can tackle large-scale brand graphics or complex digital experiences; an ideal candidate has familiarity with animation and motion graphics. Finally, an understanding of the importance of brand design within experiential environments is essential.
_ Design experiential, live event, retail and other brand experience projects for world-class brands.
_ Develop design direction set by creative leads, and apply to space and environments.
_ Create 2D designs, vector and composite, for brand experiences, brand identities, live events, presentation & pitch decks, retail displays, digital content & experiences (Adobe Creative Suite)
_ Prepare documents to be seamlessly passed to design production or digital development teams.
_ Design and development of pitch and ideation presentation (Keynote, InDesign)
_ Ability to work within project teams including creative leads, project managers, technical design and production.
_ Work with creative leads to implement
_ Communicate ideas quickly through written, verbal or visual means.
_ Work quickly and efficiently, and facilitate seamless transition to production phase.
_ Adhere to the highest standards of craft and quality throughout any project.
_ Maintain a knowledge of design and creative trends and innovations.
_ 2-4 years of work experience in an agency setting, preferably in branding, experiential or digital.
_ Requires a Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
_ Passion for growth and development of skills through collaboration.
_ Portfolio of exceptional work that demonstrates creative thinking and solid design skills.
_ Experience working independently and in teams to meet deadlines, juggle projects, and see projects through to completion.
_ Understanding of digital, social and mobile technologies as it relates to design, branding and brand communication.
_ Comfortable working in different styles and have a great sense of brand language.
_ In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative tools (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
_ Must have a strong commitment for on-time execution.
_ Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
_ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
_ Some travel should be expected.
