The Account Executive (AE) maintains communication with day to day client contacts, coordinating with agency departments to ensure accuracy of deliverables for client projects. The AE can work independently, be knowledgeable of client business and be capable of creating and presenting written and verbal communications, both internally and externally. The AE should ideally be afforded the opportunity to start to develop management skills by delegating basic admin duties to the AAE, while also supporting the Account Supervisor and beginning to hone strategic thinking and writing skills.
  • Manages relationships with day to day clients
  • Manages relationships with partners/vendors to ensure project objectives are met
  • Proactively learns basic client management techniques
  • Displays a solid knowledge of the client’s business
  • Recognizes risks with appropriate and timely internal communication

Required qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities, education and experience)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field preferred
  • 2-3 years account experience in a creative advertising agency preferred
  • Proven experience on retail and/or fast paced accounts, and with partner agencies and directly with clients
  • Understanding of production processes across all media types (print, digital, out-of-home, TV, etc.)
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate clearly, openly, honestly, and with integrity
  • Excellent organization and time management skills necessary to prioritize workload and multi-task with attention to detail
  • Strong financial understanding of budgeting, estimating, and agency profitability
  • Ability to effectively and appropriately interact with co-workers at a variety of levels, across many disciplines
  • A proven track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations
  • Can present information and feedback in one-on-one and group situations with confidence and tact
  • After hours work and overnight travel required
